April is almost here, and we have some exciting news to share with you all! It's been a whirlwind of a month at The Ship, with fresh winds blowing in some fantastic changes. We're thrilled to introduce you to the newest members of our crew: Jon, our talented Executive Chef, and Gary, our friendly Restaurant and Bar Manager.

Let's give a warm welcome to Jon, who brings with him an impressive 38 years of hospitality experience. With accolades like Rosettes under his belt and a stint as the Executive Chef at the renowned Cowdray Estate, Jon's culinary prowess is sure to tantalize your taste buds. He's eager to reconnect with the community and is already cooking up some exciting specials to delight our beloved locals. Keep your eyes peeled for our Easter Celebrations and Jon's upcoming New Menu - you won't want to miss it!

And Gary, with 15 years in the hospitality trade, Gary's no stranger to creating unforgettable experiences. Many of you might remember him from his days at The Drift in Sparks Marina, Hayling Island. With Jon and Gary at the helm, we're setting sail towards a new era of excellence at The Ship.


As we eagerly await Jon's grand menu reveal in early April, we're already basking in the warm glow of happy customers and delicious dishes. Whether you're a regular or a newcomer, we can't wait to welcome you aboard for a wonderful Easter celebration.
