Spring is on its way, the days are getting brighter, and we have introduced new signage to help guide you around some of the fabulous local walks. You may have noticed that we were recently featured in The Times with one of their top walks for 2023. Here are the details and instructions…

Chichester Marina to West Wittering, West Sussex Map OS Explorer OL8; Start Chichester Marina, PO20 7EJ (OS ref SU 835011) Getting there Bus 52 or 53 from Chichester. Road: Marina signed 2 miles south of Chichester on A286 Walk From bus stop follow Marina Drive. At marina entrance (836010), right through marina to shore (829013). Left along flood wall; cross bridge; Salterns Way to road (826010). Right past boatyard; then right off Court Barn Lane (824008, fingerpost) and follow New Lipchis Way/NLW for 2 miles to West Itchenor. Continue on NLW for another 2¼ miles; pass clapboard shed with rails leading to shore; in 50m, left/inland (778994) along Ellanore Lane to West Wittering. Return by bus 52 or 53.
